Transition from Education to Adult Services is often a time of great anxiety for young people and their parents / carers. We place emphasis on providing support and answering concerns, which can reduce the level of uncertainty.
Every year we attend Transition Events arranged by the schools, host groups from the school assist in our shop, cate and garden and go into schools to work together on joint time-limited projects.
We work closely with the local Specialist Schools in West Northants and the Council Adult Social Care teams to provide a joined-up approach to students who opt to attend our service. Knowing the needs of each new starter is something we pride ourselves on.
