The Spectrum Charity Shop is a real success story since it opened in 2017. Based is Berrywood Road, Duston we provide retail learning opportunities for our service users both in the shop and sorting room. We are open Monday to Saturday 9am-4pm and our approach is to price reasonably, always have a good turnover of stock and to have the full variety of categories available. Annually, around 90,000 items are sold in the shop, a positive alternative to landfill. Our car park on-site makes it easy to receive donations from members of the public and ensure a continued throughput of new stock.
Alongside the shop, we sell donated items through eBay, hold regular jumble sales and hold an annual Fashion Show to prove the value of second-hand clothing.
We pride ourselves on good customer service and look forward to welcoming you in our shop.
We are seeking new volunteers to assist in the delivery of our provision. As we are a charity supporting vulnerable adults, we require all volunteers to complete an Enhanced DBS.
